Tipper -- a happy tail

I lost the love of my life recently, Booda. I thought the pain would kill me. I still cry for him
every single day of my life. There are still days I think the pain will kill me. It is so bad that I
have not even been able to bring his ashes home. He resides with my friend Caryll for now
until I am strong enough to bring him back to where he was so loved. I will never get over
losing him. Never. He will always hold a special place in my heart and life. He was my joy
and losing him (as losing any dog does) tempted me to give up rescue. But Kristen Debate
sent me more pictures of Tipper whom she adopted from me several years ago. My soul
smiled. For the first time in weeks, a smile came from inside me heart and shined on my
face. This face, this dog, this life saved, the joy, peace, delight, pure unadulterated
happiness you see in this dog is why I will continue to do this work no matter how much my
heart breaks when I lose one of my own personal babies or when I lose the occasional
rescue who has been so badly neglected that there is nothing I nor my wonderful vets can
do to save the dog. Kristen and family, thank you so very much for these reminders that I
have to go on. That no matter how broke I am, how far behind I am on my bills, no matter
how much my heart hurts, there is ALWAYS a Tipper out there needing me. Needing you.
Needing to love and be loved and if all I can do is buy them time until the right home comes
along, so be it. God put me here to do this and I will do it as long as I can.
I need money, I need a job, I am so broke it is not even amusing anymore. Every dime I
have goes to these dogs but most of all I need these reminders that all the sacrifice is worth
it. I need these reminders that the sleepless nights, the tears, the pain, the sorrow, is all
diminished by the Tippers of my world and to date there are 143 since 2002 that would have
died in a county facility had I not intervened (even against my better judgment.) If anyone
reading this wants to REALLY help me, TRULY wants to help me make a difference, email
me at stoptheinsanitynow@gmail.com and let me tell you about my Amway business. I
have partnered with other rescues (uniting our power, uniting the power of our dollars to do
even more than we are now to end the madness of slaughtering EIGHT MILLION
COMPANION ANIMALS EVERY YEAR IN THIS NATION ALONE. If you REALLY want to help,
really want to put your money where it will help, become my Amway customer. Let me talk to
you about this. I will not try to convince you to become and IBO and sell. I simply need for
you to purchase $75 a month of products you use every single day anyway (detergent, hair
care, skin care, paper products, one of the best dog foods ever made, Nutripet, mouthwash,
sport drinks, vitamins, cosmetics (rated Number 1 in the industry by leading make up artists
- Artistry), bottled water (one of the best made in my opinion, Perfect Water) the 75 is to
qualify for free shipping and I will authorize you for MY prices - their "wholesale".
Environmentally friendly, ZERO animal testing, CHEAPER per use than even Walmart prices
(where your money is supporting China and corporate profits) and Yes, I can and will prove
this to you with an item by item price comparison sheet - and Amway is MADE IN THE USA.
and do we EVER need this now!!!!! to support goods made in our own country!!!
When I get this business built so it is self-sustaining, I intend to offer a FREE spay
neuter/vaccination program and offer FREE training with those funds. My goal is not to get
rich - my goal is to make life richer for these forgotten, hungry, neglected companion
animals. My goal is to stop the madness BEFORE these dogs end up on death row and I
can only choose ONE to save at a time. I want to end this so that I don't have 22, 24, 27
dogs at a time in my house hoping for a home. I want to empower other rescues to do the
same kind of work I fully intend to do one way or another and I KNOW THIS WILL WORK. I
want to end the madness at it's inception - too many pregnant dogs with no where for the
puppies to go. Among us all, the rescues participating in the "for the animals" Amway
program, we can end this pornographically obscene blight on our culture. My spay and
neuter program will be called "For the Love of Booda".
Enjoy these pictures of Tipper who has so helped heal my heart from the horrible loss I
suffered when my big old lug of a loveable precious boy passed away. and consider
becoming my customer so I can achieve my goal of opening my "For the Love of Booda"
program and help people who are going to own dogs even though they cannot afford to alter
them. We cannot stop them for getting dogs (just like we can't stop people from having
babies who don't have the money to raise them, but I, WE, TOGETHER CAN help keep their
dogs from breeding and adding to this problem. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. WE CAN
CHANGE THIS. Make responsible choices with your money, buy your detergent, cosmetics,
vitamins, cleaning products, shop through my website at our partner stores, Barnes and
Noble, Petco, hundreds of stores, weight loss, energy drinks, the most amazing bottled
water I've ever tried (Perfect Water) and KNOW that you are putting your money where your
mouth is, you are saving animals - even if you cannot take in a dog or rescue a dog, you
CAN make it possible for ME to do more than I'm doing. I have given up my life for these
dogs - won't you please contact me and find out how you can help me save even more?
Visit my Amway/Quixtar page, join and email me so I can set you up at MY PRICES then
purchase - use the power of your money to support my rescue efforts and those in my up
and down line. Do just this little bit for these dogs. Go to either of these sites:
dwood17.qhealthbeauty.com or dwood17.ordermygift.com - to see products like cleaning
products (SA8 detergent - rated No. 1 by Consumer Reports) click on the "other" tab.

This was where Tipper's story began. In a cage at Murray County
Animal Control. 24 hours from being euthanized by gas. She
was just 16 weeks old. Sitting there waiting to be mass
slaughtered. I took her and four more dogs that day. Other
rescues saved a few but they still killed 10 dogs that week. One,
Honey Hound went all the way to CISAR in Central Illinois. I did
not have room for her but a lady in New York City paid to have
Honey pulled and paid for my gas to drive her to Illinois. This is
Honey. Honey now lives on a "hobby farm" with her family of
rescued goats, chickens and horses - Her "daddy" is a Chicago
attorney who opted for a healthier life for his growing "human"
family - Thanks so much to Donna Mosera for making Honey's life
possible. Without Donna, I would have been forced to leave
Honey behind. Donna I love you!!

These photos were taken of Tipper here at The Dog Next
Door before she was adopted. Below, she's in one of my
kiddie pools and then she is standing beside it all wet
from her play.
This is my favorite picture of all time. Well, one of my favorites. Every dog ever adopted has a favorite picture for
me but this is my favorite for Tipper. This was Christmas 2005, taken just a few months after she was adopted
by the DeBates Family. They traveled to the beach for Christmas that year - took Tipper with them (of course --
What is a family Christmas with a member of the family missing???) and it was one of the first pictures I
received from them. I love this family as much as I love their dog

If you scroll to the end, you will see Tipper awaiting death at Murray County Animal Shelter, a few
pictures of her here at The Dog Next Door and one of my favorites, Tipper and her family in front of
the Christmas tree in 2005. You will also find the story of how I plan to expand what I do to save
these dogs. The DeBates are having to give up Zoe whom they recently adopted as a companion to
Tipper (her story is at the bottom of this page) Please read it as Zoe desperately needs a home.

Thinking Tipper needed a companion, the DeBates tried to save Zoe, a pure bred border collie. However, Tipper had
become quite accustomed to her couch potato life, to being the only dog and did not appreciate the exuberance of a 6
month old border collie who interfered with Tipper's life of luxury and beauty sleep. They are deeply saddened that they are
having to return Zoe to me and I am sad for Zoe having lost the home she thought she had but of all people, I understand
the dilemma that this warm loving family faces. They love Tipper more than anything in the world and what they thought
was best for Tipper was NOT what Tipper thought was best. Zoe needs a home. She's a wonderful dog and I'm happy to
share all the great things her humans have to say about Zoe. Tipper says Zoe is a pain in the patooty, this is MY house,
these are MY people, Zoe must go. If you have a great yard (Zoe loves to run and play) or are a jogger and are looking for a
playful, very loving dog that is great with kids, Zoe might be the dog for them to grow up with. Zoe is now roughly 10
months to a year old, housetrained, leash trained (still needs a little work) Please give her a second look. Click to enlarge
Zoe's pictures. and email me if you might be interested!!
